This papa Johns is ALWAYS fast. Most of the time I always do delivery since it's a convenient for me when I'm home with my baby. Delivery time is always excellent! I do live up the road. Maybe 5-8 minutes away, and I always get my ordered within 15-30 minutes. Only a couple times they have came late but I did get my complimentary pizza card for the inconvenience. Drivers are always nice and tell me to have a great day. Will always be ordering from this one.

Ordered a Large 3 topping Pizza two weeks ago for $14.99 for delivery. It was easy to order on the phone, the order taker totally understood my order and took my card info and viola! EZ! Total wait time they quoted was about an hour, my pizza came in at 35 minutes at the dinner rush, impressive! I was expecting it to be late considering the time I did order but it delivered before the promised time! The driver was nice and I could put tip on my credit card slip, phew cause I did not have enough cash on hand to cover tip. So that is good to know to include tip on the card slip. Will be ordering again soon, very pleased with service and I would recommend this location to everyone I know! Look for coupons online, or in your mail for deals too! Enjoy your pizza!!

I only gave it 3 stars because most the time it's good pizza and fast delivery. However I ordered pizza this time and the entire center of the pizza wasn't even cooked! Yuck for doughy pizza.

Could you believe this is my first time setting my foot into Papa John's? I've eaten their pizza before but somehow it was just came to me. The location is pretty big especially the assembly line. There were about a dozen people working doing different things. No one was gossiping I tell you that much. They were all busy doing their thing. Way to go! Tuesdays are their BOGO night. Buy 2 for 1 price. Nice! I got their regular crust with mushroom & sausage. They also give a garlic buttery sauce. Make sure you shake it before you open it. I like their pizza so I may come here more often than Pizza Hut now.

It's a typical papa johns, like any of these chains you've been to one and you've been to them all. Lol They do have a $10 web Wednesday special pick up if you order online and use the code 10ww in the promo box. My favorite chain pizza place.

Five stars. One of the better pizza delivery places. You can order online from the app. You can also select extra sauce, cook it well done, and/or have it cut "Chicago" style, where it comes in smaller square slices. Delivery is always quick and I like the banana pepper and garlic sauce added in as a freebie.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER RECEIVED! First of all, don't go at night cause the person that looked as if she were the manager or supervisor is BEYOND rude. We came in last night for carry-out, unsure if they were open or not. We walk in and we were rudely "greeted" asking if we were doing carry out, we answered yes. And what do we get in reply? A snobby attitude yelling that next time they're closed. Like wow. It isn't hard to respectfully tell us that carry-out is closed at a certain time. Our mistake for not checking first but we just wanted to get our pizza. I get it. I work at a food place and it would be irritating to have to do more when you're almost ready to close but out of respect, you shouldn't act that way in front of customers. So embarrassing. What makes it worse is, while waiting, she's obviously slamming everything around. How rude & disrespectful of her. And then to top it all off, the pizza was undercooked and there were barely any toppings on it. I never cared for Papa John's pizzas but after this experience at this particular location, I'll never order from here ever again. Literally just made my account just so I can make this review because of the disbelief in how rude this worker was!

Ok you can't go wrong with Wednesday $10 large pizzas, but apparently you can with everything that comes with it. My pizza dipping sauce looked like it fell into a dumpster and a rat sucked on the edges. Gross and it was sitting in the pizza box! Please see the attached picture. Additionally the sauce expired on April 6th. Today's is the 16th. I don't understand it of why employees can do a quick visual check of the product. It obviously looks like it was picked out of the trash and the top is open! Or maybe the cashier was trying to get back at me because the register literally ran out of change due to the 75 cent pizza sauce I bought and the resolution after wandering all over the store to find change was to take it out of a tip jar? Or maybe the cashier was offended that I asked him to repeat of what he was saying more than a few times as I couldn't clearly make out of what he was telling me. Two stars for the pizza it was delicious and my dogs agreed too as they got the slices that were touching the sketchy pizza sauce.

Unfortunately I didn't grow up in Brooklyn or Italy and have the world's best pizza at my fingertips. I, like most Americans, grew up eating pizza from Dominos, Pizza Slut, Papa Johns, and a few local joints. So to this day, this "substandard" pizza is somewhat of a comfort food, and I actually quite enjoy it *blasphemy!* Don't get me wrong, I'm no pizza neophyte - I lived in the Northeast for years and never stopped searching for that perfect slice. But sometimes you just want the predictable, thick, cheap, greazy, pizza that's two minutes from your house. Thus, I was brought to Papa Johns on Kaahumanu on a Thursday night when leftovers looked particularly unappetizing. 10 bucks for a large pepperoni if I pick it up?? Sign me up! Upon receipt of my box of pizza, I open it to inspect and discover that there is an issue involving the complementary pepperoncinis. The problem is, they are so small they look like they barely made it out of the nursery. In fact, one of them is so small, sickly looking, and dry, it must have been stillborn. Me, eying the poor excuses for peppers: "Can I get some more peppers?" Counter girl, with a forced half-smile, doing her best impression of a robot: "You can buy an extra order of peppers, they are 75 cents and there are four in an order." "But...look at these peppers, they really are quite pathetic. Shouldn't they count as one pepper? Can I just get one good one?" I say, trying to reason. She responds with the same robotic reply but gone is the half-smile and now she's staring at me in disbelief, as if to say "Didn't you hear me!!? I said you can buy some more peppers! No, I don't care that your peppers suck!" I come to the realization that I am not getting new peppers, not without paying for them, anyway, and mumble something about them being "the smallest I have ever seen" as I walk out, crestfallen. The pizza was decent, what I would expect from Papa Johns. It just wasn't the same without the vinegary contrast of the peppers though...

3.1.13 As a part of Generation Y, someone also told me that I am part of the "pizza generation". I remember thinking to myself, I'm not a pizza girl, that's just a perk of sleepovers. I guess that person was right because I LOVE PIZZA. Well, I have always loved bread and the crust is my fav part...and I love cheese...and Italian cuisine...and ok it makes sense. Honestly, Papa John's is NOT my favorite (since my discovery of Domino's at UHM, that has become my fav, but Pizza Hut never disappoints either). I don't know, I guess I just was never really a fan of their almost burnt crust; let's just say that their signature garlic sauce (butter) is a must to make the crust bearable to eat. I also found in this last go around that the pizza was a tad too oily, almost soggy, and more so than other places. If there's anything good to say, they have some better deals than other places...but this might be a plea for more business. Really the only reason why we ordered from here is because I participated in a promotion they were running during the Super Bowl: guess the result of the coin toss and if you call it right, free pizza! Luckily, I called it right and received a coupon via email. I had to order online which was kind of nice--pretty easy and convenient--and carryout pick up went smoothly. Hopefully they will run one of these promos again next year because really, anything free is always a thumbs up! :) Yelp 365 Challenge: #060/365

Papa Johns is still here on the Islands. Yup they are still in business and they also participate with the islediscount ID cards. You get 2 medium 2 topping pizza for $15.79! That is a deal that beats all other deals :) So one day my boyfriend wanted to order pizza and we got the usual a pepperoni and sausage in one pizza and another spinach and chicken. We also added an order of chicken wings, honey chipotle wings because I was scared for the hotwings! We decided to pick up because it is only five minutes away from our house and it saves us a few dollars on delivery. I get in to pick up the order and waited a merely 10 minutes before someone came to help me. As I was waiting for a sales person, washer, cook, mosquito... anything.. I heard a person behind a cubicle taking phone orders. I let her know that I was waiting in front of her but said "excuse me" about 3 times before she got up and yelled for someone to come to the register. I was already annoyed at that point and when the cashier rung me up she was not the nicest person and she could not wait to go to the back because I sure was not done singing their copy of the receipt. When we got home I was a bit disappointment because my pizza was not hot, it was really warm getting to the point of being a refrigerated pizza. And the crust of the pizza is so thin and flaky I don't like it at all, I much prefer a fluffier crust or a stuffed crust. The chicken and spinach was dry and not appetizing, the chicken was just bad! You could tell that they pour the sauce only when you order it because the chicken was not evenly spread out... Next time I will just stick to my original place to get pizza, but the ID card was a deal and it wasn't all that bad for the price we paid, well for my boyfriend at least.

use the iPhone app to order, need to make it better because it's WAY MORE EXPENSIVE using the app than calling in/ordering online..BUT the app is easier to deal with (never called in and from the reviews won't ever call in, the app will suffice) so paying the extra $5-10 is fine with me if it means I'll avoid bad customer service. the 2 delivery drivers I've dealt with were very polite and timely. the pizza is good, got it exactly how I ordered it & it was hot so 5 points for that. also got an order of spicy wings, major fail! wings looked like they were just baked and a slop of sauce was put on. the ranch sauce was upside down and all over by the time I opened the box---not going to blame the driver for this one because I HIGHLY DOUBT he opens the boxes...so minus points for the presentation of the wings. the cinnapie was kind of burnt but good...good presentation also...plus 5 for that...and another 5 for the soda being cold. overall----award goes to the driver for calling and walking all the way in to deliver with a smile.
